Professionals, community food advocates, students, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations involved in food systems work enjoy unique opportunities to collaborate and engage in public-private dialogue about food systems policy and ways to address gaps and imbalances in the food systems serving New York City.
By joining FSNYC you become part of one of the most respected groups directly involved in shaping the regional food system.

Member Benefits
Our members convene monthly at Open Networking meetings that are designed to foster collaboration through information sharing and mutual education. These meetings focus on critical food policy issues and promoting opportunities for individuals to partner on specific projects. Hundreds of FSNYC supporters attend Open Networking meetings each year to hear food producers, policy makers, activists, and other practitioners talk about current food topics that are at the cutting edge of creating a new, better regional farm and food system. In addition, more than 1,000 individuals and organizations receive the FSNYC monthly, on-line newsletter featuring local, regional, national food systems news, events and job listings.
Your membership benefits include:
1. Free attendance at our Open Network meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month ($5 for non-members)

The Food Systems Network NYC (FSNYC) is excited to announce its new membership program and we are pleased to invite you to become a part of it.
As a valued member of our community, we hope you’ll join us in contributing to our efforts by becoming a contributing member. Membership will provide you with technical information, advocacy, and professional networking opportunities, which will help advance your work and help you be more effective in our city and region.
Membership Contributions:
Student/AmeriCorps Volunteer: $15
Individual Member: $20
Organization (Maximum of 4 employees per meeting): $75
Supporter: $75+
Your membership is effective for one year from the date of enrollment. New memberships will begin in January and July. Membership will be in effect for a full calendar year from January - December, or July – June. FSNYC will begin charging non-members for attending the Open Networking meeting in April, at the end of a grace period for member enrollment. Details of your membership can be obtained at www.foodsystemsnyc.org and will also be shown on your membership card including renewal dates. Please note, if you have any questions or are interested in becoming a member but find the fees prohibitive please contact Kristin Pederson at kristin@foodsystemsnyc.org.
This new membership model will allow the FSNYC to expand our efforts and grow our regional impact. With your support, FSNYC can help NYC and the surrounding region become the national model for a sustainable and healthy local food system.
