HOW ARE YOU IMPACTING OUR LOCAL FOOD SYSTEM?
LET US ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR EFFORTS!

FSNYC members are a dynamic group of non-profits, small business, individuals and government representatives who are leading the exciting changes in our regional food systems. And it’s growing all the time. Since our website debut in December 2007, we have enjoyed a 19% increase in membership. As a Network, our role is to leverage YOUR accomplishments, by fostering opportunities for your work to intersect with that of others’ for greater impact within our regional food system.

Now we want to expand the networking and collaboration opportunities of our Network by inviting your stories about your collaborative work. When you submit the collaboration form attached, FSNYC will document and catalogue collaborations among FSNYC members and non-FSNYC members. This catalogue of collaborative work will be used to:
• aid and support member efforts when speaking to and testifying before policymakers
• develop a compendium’ of NYC regional food system vignettes for publication
• highlight innovative projects in our Newsletter and website
• expand our website to demonstrate the breadth and depth of collaborative efforts across our region
• cultivate more collaborations by informing members of opportunities
• write project grants to sustain these efforts
• support other activities as opportunities arise

In the past, we asked specifically for news on projects among FSNYC members. Now we are broadening the scope – so do send in your stories on the attached form today!
